As well as handbrake ON, place the car in FIRST gear and always chock the wheel diagonally opposite to the one you are jacking to prevent any movement of the car
If you intend to remove a wheel, always loosen the wheel nuts BEFORE you jack the car
Always use a hydraulic trolley jack; never use the emergency jack supplied with the car
Using the vehicle's jacking locations, carefully raise the car using the trolley jack. ALWAYS support the trolley jack with axle stands placed at the specified jacking points
